I have successfully led audit and compliance projects for high-profile governmental entities, such as the Ministry of Defense, Police Academy, National Transformation Program, and Audit and Assurance bodies. My efforts helped these organizations attain their initial ISO certifications and maintain ongoing compliance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 38500, as well as local frameworks like Qiyas (Saudi Arabia’s Basic Standards for Digital Transformation), and best practices such as ITIL and COBIT. I have also led complex audit initiatives in the financial sector to expand the scope of management systems.
Professional Experience
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and an MBA in Information Security Management, I have held various roles such as Principal Trainer, Consultant, and Lead Auditor and Assessor of IT Service Management, Information Security Management, and Business Continuity Management. For more than 15 years of experience in the auditing industry, I have conducted numerous of audits across various sectors, including IT, education, banking, telecommunications, and oil and gas. I have worked with organizations of all types and sizes to help them achieve compliance with local and international standards. Also, I have participated in building so many management systems based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO 22301. I enjoy volunteering work so I participate as a SME at ISACA in reviewing the curriculum of their prestigious certifications like CISA, CISM, CGEIT, and CRISC, also, I am an exam item writer for the examinations of CISA, CRISC, and CGEIT since 2015.
