Why did you choose
to get certified against
ISO/IEC 27001:2013?
Our decision to get certified was based on the fact that as an organization, that meets people’s financial needs through technology, we have loads of information in our custody that should be kept safe and confidential.
We did not have any regulatory requirement mandating to get certified with ISO/IEC 27001 standard. However, we needed to ensure that we embed security into our culture and adopt an effective and efficient approach of ISMS in accordance with the standard’s best practice. The only way to guarantee this was by getting certified against the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.
