He is a Principal Standards Officer with the “Standards Organization of Nigeria” from where he developed a strong understanding of standardization, quality assurance, and inspection services of various control processes and procedures in different industries.
He holds an MSc degree, showcasing a high level of knowledge and expertise. His educational background has given him a deep understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies, making him an asset to any organization.
Throughout his career, he has held various roles as a lead auditor, quality assurance officer, and facilitator, where he implemented and managed quality control systems, conducted audits, and ensured compliance with industry standards. He has also collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implementation of effective management systems strategies.
One of his most significant professional achievements has been serving as a role model and mentor. About the experience in auditing
As a certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, and ISO/IEC 27001 Management Systems Lead Auditor, I delivered numerous audits covering various Management Systems standards, for multiple clients.
During these periods, the opportunity to work with colleagues and clients from different industries has helped me gain an understanding of several business processes, systems, and a range of regulatory requirements across sectors. Serving as an internal and external auditor at various times in the last twelve years has given me a well-rounded perspective on the audit process.
One major challenge I faced during my auditing experience was ensuring the audit objective was not compromised while efficiently managing the time allotted for each process. Reviewing large amounts of data within limited and tight deadlines is tasking. However, professionalism and exposure to various organizational controls and processes come in handy in solving this challenge.
Another challenge is waiting for objective evidence from clients during remote audits. Sometimes selecting the best pieces of sufficient and appropriate evidence is not easy remotely. Employing the risk-based thinking approach has helped me remain calm and ensure relevant evidence is presented by the clients.
Ensuring the clients have a value-adding experience was a favorite part of my audit experience. Presenting opportunities for improvement and identifying weaknesses in controls within the clients’ management systems is exciting. Seeing clients agreeing that a nonconformity detected within their system is a plus and will add value if suitable corrective actions are taken is a rewarding experience that gives me great satisfaction.
In the future, I aim to leverage my current auditing exposures as a tool necessary to explore emerging technologies to stay abreast of evolving industry demands and venture into new market-driven terrains.
My goal is to be known as a great mentor and coach in the management system services field. I wish to take on higher roles where I can guide and mentor younger auditors, contributing to their professional development while significantly impacting the auditing field.

On behalf of MSECB, I have delivered several audits including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 27001 for clients across Nigeria and Ghana.
