Professional Experience
I hold a master’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment from the University of South Wales, Treforest, Cardiff, United Kingdom. I am a certified ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 Lead Auditor and a certified management system auditor (CMSA) for MSCEB. Additionally, I hold the Certified Industrial Hygienist Certification (Board for Global EHS Credentialing – USA) and Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (CAOHC – USA).
I stand out as an experienced and certified ISO management Lead Auditor. With 10 years of experience in the auditing industry, I have successfully conducted over 108 audits across various sectors, including but not limited to healthcare, IT, healthcare fertilizer, petroleum, food manufacturing, security, metal refining, telecommunication, and other manufacturing aside from food. Working with companies of all sizes to help them achieve compliance with international standards and optimize their business processes, I have continually provided value-added audit processes, which led to a significant increase in the bottom line.
The COVID-19 pandemic threatens most businesses, and the security industries were not left out with the shift to remote working. Supporting this sector to explore the feasibility of a new service provision aside from physical man guard, most organizations survived the COVID-19 business risk while increasing their bottom line.
As an MSECB Auditor, I contribute significantly to building trust and confidence among clients and stakeholders. My proficiency in auditing and my thorough approach to evaluating management systems enable MSECB to:

Cynthia Obianuju Ozobu's experience in auditing
During a recent audit of a section of an aviation institution, I was faced with the challenge where non-conformities were not receiving the required level of attention and seriousness. By clearly explaining the potential impact of non-conformities on operations and safety of all stakeholders, I used a risk-based approach to prioritize critical findings and ensure the top management commits to corrective actions effectively.
I particularly enjoy identifying opportunities for improvement which helps the organizations enhance their management systems to positive impact compliance. Analyzing gaps, assessing risks and providing insights that drive meaningful change is a problem-solving aspect of auditing I always look forward to in any audit.
With the continual changes in the world of work, my goal is to integrate ISO/IEC 27001, cybersecurity and AI audits. The call for this advertisement is due to the needs of organization in data protection. My mentor was instrumental in introducing me to MSECB eight years ago and my experience has been nothing less than exceptional. Initially, I took on ISO 9001 and due to the level of quality information received, I progressed to add other MS. The reputation and integrity of MSECB was quite rewarding being identified as MSECB auditor. For every audit I perform, I continuously add value to my professional skill as an auditor.
MSECB sets the pace, and I believe it is because they continuously explore opportunities for continuous improvement. The most recent example is the platform for audit report submission, thus improving the experience both for the auditors and the auditee organization.
In my opinion, MSECB has been pivotal to my career trajectory and growth as an MS system auditor. One of the main reasons for this is the quality of their resources and due diligence deployed in the audit process. Interestingly, the rigorous review of the audit report ensures that auditors do an excellent job in the field. So, I will always recommend others to become MSECB auditors
