About Ololade Ayoola
Ololade Ayoola is a lead auditor and trainer on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301 and ISO 50001 standards. He has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and an MBA in Operations and Project Management. He has helped over forty organizations and corporations to achieve process improvement through implementation of various management system standards. Furthermore, during his auditing career, he has conducted certification audits for more than sixty organizations.
Ayoola represents Nigeria as an expert on ISO Technical Committees 176, 207, 267 and 292. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers; Nigerian Environmental Society; American Society for Quality (ASQ); and a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
Additionally, he is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance; Chartered Institute of Quality, Nigeria; Institute of Management Consultants; Chartered Institute of Mentoring and Coaching, among others; and PECB Health, Safety, and Environment Auditor of the year award winner in 2018 and 2019.
About the experience in auditing
“I am a passionate professional always willing to help organizations achieve excellence in their management systems and reap the immense benefits of certification.
I commenced auditing in early 2004 as a trainee auditor and gradually achieved the role of Lead Auditor.
My auditing experience has been interesting and challenging as it cut across manufacturing, banking & finance, insurance, engineering, fabrication, oil & gas, ICT, health care, education, as well as courier service organizations in the public and private sector. I was privileged to audit specialized oil and gas facilities offshore and onshore, as well as Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) with attendant high risk, and the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) requirement.
The auditing profession has broadened my knowledge base, afforded me the opportunity to see new places and improve my professional network. Travelling being my hobby, has enabled me to see new places, new cultures, and experience a variety of food. Security and cultural differences are evident, but I have been able to adapt easily. Auditing Integrated Management System was initially a challenge but surmounted with more auditing opportunities.
My favorite part of auditing is the interview, inspection & test phase due to the interactive nature. I hope to add more competencies and certifications in the near future for more auditing opportunities.”- Ololade Ayoola
